What this site processes
This is a static content site. It has no account registration, contact form, newsletter, comments, advertising, or configured third-party analytics.
When a page is requested, the hosting or CDN operator may receive ordinary request metadata such as an IP address, browser or device information, time, referrer, and the requested URL. The host's log fields and retention period depend on the service used for the deployment; no separate host is configured in this source repository.
The site stores one first-party preference named pagekiln-consent when you save a choice. It records the consent version, selected categories, and update time. The cookie is Path=/, SameSite=Lax, and, on HTTPS, Secure; its configured maximum age is 365 days. The browser-side fallback is removed when the same 365-day period expires.
The local search index is downloaded as a static file and searched in your browser. The search script does not send the query to a search service. The host may still receive the normal request for the page or index file.
Purposes and legal bases
Page delivery, security, static asset delivery, and build-generated site operations are processed because they are necessary to provide the page you request and to protect the service. Where the controller relies on a balancing test, the applicable basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
The pagekiln-consent preference is used to remember your choice and to keep optional categories off until you decide. Optional analytics or other optional scripts, if later configured, may run only after an affirmative choice based on consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. None is configured in this build.
The terminal-equipment rule in Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive is applied to storage and access: optional storage or access is presented with a choice, while the preference needed to remember that choice is used for this consent control.
Recipients and international transfers
No advertising, analytics, comment, or form provider is configured by this repository. The hosting/CDN provider used by the site operator may process request metadata to deliver the site. Its name, processor terms, locations, and transfer safeguards depend on the actual deployment.
The controller does not intentionally transfer the consent preference or search query to a third-party service. A later deployment that adds a provider or transfer will describe that processing here before the feature runs.
Retention
The consent preference is kept for up to 365 days, then the browser-side preference is treated as expired and can be saved again. A visitor can clear it earlier through browser controls. Request-log retention is controlled by the actual hosting/CDN operator and varies with the deployed service.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions and limits in the GDPR, you may request access to, rectification of, erasure of, or restriction of processing of personal data; request portability where applicable; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Because this site does not create visitor accounts or maintain a site-side profile, some requests may result in a confirmation that no corresponding data is held by the controller.
To exercise a right, use the contact link above and describe the request. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. This site does not make decisions based solely on automated processing and does not intentionally collect children's data.
Changes
If the processing described here changes, the policy, consent categories, and relevant visitor-facing notices will be updated before the new optional processing begins.
